Community protection

Since February 1, 2023, there have been "emergency meeting points" in Liechtenstein. The population receives help and information there in the event of disasters and emergencies. The emergency meeting points are designed for hazards that are also relevant for Liechtenstein:

• Prolonged power outages
• Failure of regular means of communication such as mobile telephony

The authorities provide information via Radio Liechtenstein, television (1 FL TV), app and internet (Alertswiss) when the emergency meeting points are in operation.

Specialist group "Community protection"

In the event of a disaster or emergency situation - for example a natural event or a power outage - service contracts are set up and offered by the "Community Protection" specialist group as required.

This includes the following four services:

• Emergency meeting points
• Catering
• Emergency accommodation and support
• Evacuations
