Solar power share certificate
Together with Liechtensteinische Kraftwerke (LKW), the Energy City of Vaduz is offering its residents an innovative citizen participation scheme - the "SonnenSchein".
By purchasing one or more solar power shares, the holder secures a guaranteed electricity yield for two decades from a photovoltaic system installed on a building in the municipality. For a one-off payment of CHF 1'300.00 per "SonnenSchein" and a service fee of CHF 15.00 per year and share certificate, the customer receives electricity for 20 years in the form of an annual credit of 450 kilowatt hours on their electricity bill. The guaranteed energy yield is valued and credited at the applicable energy price.
