Audit Commission

The Audit Commission is responsible for the ongoing control of the administration and accounting of the municipality. It reviews the financial statements and the financial management at least twice a year. It also reports to the municipal council on the results of its audit and submits a proposal for approval of the municipal accounts and discharge of the governing bodies. The Audit Commission is elected by the municipal assembly for a term of office of four years.
