Waterworks

The waterworks is responsible for the water supply in the municipality of Vaduz.

Tasks

• Construction of main pipes and house connections
• Monitoring, maintenance and upkeep of the water supply facilities, such as hydrants, house connections, water meters, reservoirs, tunnels, sliding shafts and springs.

Around 1.5 million cubic meters of water are pumped every year. Most of this comes from the springs in Malbun, the rest from the groundwater reserves. Once the reservoirs are full, water is released into the supply network of other municipalities.
