Residents' services
The employees of the Residents' Services department maintain and update the residents' register and compile the corresponding statistics. They are the registration office for new arrivals, departures and relocations as well as the point of contact for submitting confirmations of residence and confirmations of life. The department works closely with the financial and tax services as well as the registry office.
Immigration
Moving into the municipality is subject to registration. Personal registration is handled by the Residents' Services Department.
Moving within the municipality
If you move within the municipality, the change of address must be reported to the Residents' Services Department.
Moving to another municipality in Liechtenstein
You must register with the new municipality of residence.
Moving away from Liechtenstein
At least eight days before leaving Liechtenstein, you must deregister with your old municipality of residence.
