Culture

The Culture Department is responsible for strengthening cultural diversity and preserving the cultural heritage of the municipality of Vaduz. It is the point of contact for cultural institutions and cultural associations as well as interest groups within the municipality.

The department is also responsible for processing applications for cultural programs, individual projects and productions in the municipality of Vaduz and acts as a link to the Culture Commission. The Culture Department is also responsible for the municipality's own art collection and advises the Culture Commission on any purchases of works of art to expand the collection.

In order to preserve the cultural heritage, the Culture Department also acts as a point of contact within the municipality in the area of cultural property protection (KGS) and works in partnership with the Office for Culture in this context.

As a point of contact for cultural matters, the culture department also offers advice and performs coordination tasks within the municipal administration with regard to networking cultural players.
