Renovation of Mitu hut
On Gaflei, a short distance below the Clinicum Alpinum, there is a hut owned by the municipality of Vaduz. It was in a poor structural condition, with the roof in particular in need of renovation. The hut, which is worth protecting and preserving as a cultural asset, has now been renovated. In addition to re-cladding the rear wall and renovating the log wall construction, the roof was re-covered with hand-split larch shingles as originally. Great importance was attached to reusing the existing materials and keeping the hut true to the original.
Many thanks to all those involved for their efforts, especially Raimund Tschol from Raimund Tschol Holzbau Anstalt, Triesen, who carried out the woodwork.
