New bridge Vaduzer Giessen

A pedestrian bridge crosses the Giessen in Haberfeld near the kindergarten. To improve pedestrian safety, the existing bridge is to be demolished and a new one built further south. Construction is scheduled to start at the beginning of 2025. The municipal council has approved a loan of CHF 50,000.00 for the planning of this project.

The bridge over the Vaduzer Giessen at the Haberfeld kindergarten is an important link in the municipality's school route network between the areas to the east and west of the Giessen. The relocation of the bridge and the resulting improvement in safety - pedestrians now have direct access to the sidewalk instead of the roadway as was previously the case - will create added value. The redesign will also improve visibility on the busy and well-traveled path. The bridge connects Forellenweg with Bammiliweg.
