Future Day in the municipality of Vaduz

On Thursday, November 14, 2024, the municipality of Vaduz held its Future Day. Two girls and six boys took part. They were given insights into different areas of the municipality of Vaduz. These included the waterworks, the building administration and the forestry service.

Mayor Florian Meier welcomed the eight children punctually at 9.00 am. The Vaduz local bus then took everyone to the waterworks, where Pascal Beck, head of the waterworks, explained the measures required to supply the population with the best drinking water around the clock. The children enjoyed further information and lunch at Zollstrasse 56, where the building administration of the municipality of Vaduz is located. After this refreshment, the tour continued to the forestry service. In beautiful weather and fresh air, the children were given an insight into forest management and forest maintenance by forestry service manager Marco Maierhofer.

The girls and boys were enthusiastic about the day and learned many exciting details about the tasks of the municipality of Vaduz from the municipal employees.
