Construction work in the Spania area

As part of the district heating expansion in Vaduz, "Liechtenstein Wärme" will begin construction work on the district heating connection in the direction of Vaduz Castle from Tuesday, January 7, 2025. The project extends from "Spania" via "Spaniarüfe" and above the cemetery, through the castle forest to the road in the area of the castle grounds.

Access to the construction site will be via "Spania" on the one hand and via the castle grounds on the other. As part of the district heating expansion, a wastewater and meteoric water pipeline will also be installed from the castle grounds to "Spania".

As part of the construction work, helicopter operations will be required to transport materials to the construction site in the rough terrain.
