Children's Rights Day
International Children's Rights Day was celebrated today. To mark the occasion, the "Child-friendly community" working group invited all parents and children from Vaduz municipal schools to learn more about the importance of children's rights and raise awareness of them.
In collaboration with the Vaduz municipal schools and the SOS Children's Village, the working group organized a break-time activity. The parents of primary and day school children were informed about the campaign in advance and encouraged to engage with the topic of children's rights together with their children. More than 200 children enthusiastically took part in the "Stomping for peace" campaign and stomped together for around four minutes for peace and children's rights to appropriate music. As a small thank-you for their commitment, all the children received a "Spitzbuben" cookie.
