Celebration of coming of age in the municipality of Vaduz

Last Saturday, November 16, 2024, 20 young citizens born in 2006 in the municipality of Vaduz came together for this year's Young Citizens' Party. Together with members of the Youth Commission, Mayor Florian Meier and the municipal council, they spent a varied day.

At the beginning, Mayor Florian Meier gave a brief tour of the town hall and municipal events. After the traditional group photo, a "speed debating" session took place in which topics such as political youth participation, leisure activities, cultural offerings and open spaces were discussed. This allowed the needs and wishes of the young people of Vaduz to be recorded.

The event also provided an opportunity for sporting and social interaction: the young citizens and members of the municipal council put their talent and knowledge to the test during shooting practice with the Vaduz marksmen, a joint dinner served by the Ackerschaft and an entertaining pub quiz. Finally, DJ Roman Vogt's music provided an atmospheric finale.

The Vaduz Youth Commission, headed by Councillor Natascha Söldi, would like to thank all those involved for helping to organize and make this special and eventful day possible and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the young adults once again on their coming of age.
