As part of the district heating expansion in Vaduz, "Liechtenstein Wärme" will begin construction work on the district heating connection in the direction of Vaduz Castle from Tuesday, January 7, 2025. The project extends from "Spania" via "Spaniarüfe" and above the cemetery, through the castle forest to the road in the area of the castle grounds.

Over the next two weeks, a helicopter will be deployed for half a day due to a major felling operation. As part of the district heating expansion, timber work will be carried out along the pipeline road above the cemetery in the direction of the castle. The felled wood will be removed by helicopter.

A pedestrian bridge crosses the Giessen in Haberfeld near the kindergarten. To improve pedestrian safety, the existing bridge is to be demolished and a new one built further south. Construction is scheduled to start at the beginning of 2025.
