Haberfeld Nature Park
To the west of Giessen is the Haberfeld Nature Park with its ponds, marshes and pools. It is only a few minutes away from the center and can be reached via Weiherweg or Bangarten/Forellenweg. Many rare plant and animal species invite you to observe them.
Forest adventure trail
Forest walkers have two routes with a total of 40 information boards to discover and experience. Both trails start at the Waldhotel Vaduz. The shorter route stretches over two kilometers and is also suitable for families with baby carriages. The longer route covers 6.4 kilometers and has a viewing platform in the Letzi area as a special highlight, offering a wonderful view of the valley.
Auring family park
The popular Auring family park is located on Rätikonstrasse, with paths and plantings divided into areas for toddlers, activities, sports and recreation. WC facilities and a water point are also available.
Gerberweg Nature Park
The Gerberweg Nature Park is located to the west of the Giessen and invites visitors to relax on meadows with trees and watercourses. The park is a habitat for frogs, bees, dragonflies, butterflies and ducks. There are groups of tables and benches to sit and relax.
Waldhotel family park
The Waldhotel family park on Fürst-Johannes-Strasse is particularly popular as a barbecue area. The idyllic location on the edge of the forest invites you to linger, enjoy and get together. The park is equipped with WC facilities, several fire pits, a fountain and a covered seating area.
